Beta Gamma Teacher Grant

Beta Gamma Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International will award a grant of up to $150 to a full-time teacher, including specialized positions such as music, PE, and special education, from the Canby, Molalla, or Oregon City School Districts. The grant will be awarded once a year. Funds will be disbursed directly to the selected teacher for use during the current school year, if possible at our next meeting after the selection is made. We ask that the grant recipient give us some written feedback as to how the “project” went after it is completed. They will also be invited to be our guest at our year-end dinner meeting in May. The applicant’s purpose might be to acquire classroom supplies, books for a classroom library, materials for a specific project, or to attend a conference or workshop, among other possibilities. The grant request should be for costs not covered by the school district. The applicant will submit a written application, including the amount requested and a brief summary of how the grant money will be used to enhance the educational experience of the students. The proposal must be endorsed by the applicant’s principal. The application is due February 11, 2019
